Edinilen bilgiye g\u00f6re, s\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fcn ismi \u00f6\u011frenilemeyen 16 ASZ 799 plakal\u0131 otomobilde, seyir halindeyken hen\u00fcz bilinmeyen bir nedenle Cumhuriyet Metrob\u00fcs dura\u011f\u0131 yak\u0131nlar\u0131nda yang\u0131n \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131. Yoldan ge\u00e7enler bir yandan yard\u0131ma ko\u015farken di\u011fer yandan da durumu itfaiye ve polis ekiplerine haber verdi.  Bu s\u0131rada s\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fc kendini ara\u00e7tan d\u0131\u015far\u0131 att\u0131. Olay yerine gelen itfaiye ekipleri,  yanan otomobile m\u00fcdahale ederken, polis ekipleri yolda \u00f6nlem ald\u0131. \u0130tfaiye ekiplerinin \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131yla yang\u0131n kontrol alt\u0131na al\u0131narak s\u00f6nd\u00fcr\u00fcld\u00fc. Yang\u0131n sonras\u0131 herhangi bir yaralanma ve can kayb\u0131 ya\u015fanmazken, otomobil tamamen yanarak kullan\u0131lamaz hale geldi.
